US opposes anti-Israel resolution at UN

US Ambassador John Danforth said Monday another Security Council resolution was not the answer and admonished the council, which he said "acts as the adversary of the Israelis and cheerleader to the Palestinians."

Just to remind people why the Israeli's are back in Gaza:

Gillerman told the council on Monday, that 460 Kassam rockets have been fired indiscriminately at "innocent civilians as they lie in their beds, sit in their living rooms or take their children to school," said Gillerman.

Of course, they never should have left. Dorit Aniso and Yuval Abebeh would probably still live if they hadn't.

But while the murderers do not yet have their own country, they do have their 'UN representative', who can count on just about the entire General Assembly and most of the Security Council to vote for them.

The UN is a sick, diseased travesty. Small wonder too, considering most of the countries that make up its membership.
