They are ONLY able to form any kind of resistance because WE LET THEM, by treating them as if they've earned our compassion and mercy somehow.

I certainly am irrationaly pro Israel, but I'm not deaf or blind enough to ignore that palestinians are suffering under israeli occupation, as, I'm sure, israeli people are suffering for the same reason.
That kind of criticism over the entire arab people is dangerously close to some stupid, but also tragic, german ideas, back in the 30's and 40's...

I agree many 'Palestinians' are suffering under Israeli 'occupation'. All the more reason they should move (or be moved) to the neighbouring Arab countries, so they can live in 'freedom'.
As to the comparison: It is not always wrong to call a person a Nazi. Hitler was one, for example. Sharon is not.
If an entire people collectively behaves a certain way for half a century or more, I call it for what it is.
Israel's been defending herself against Arab attacks since May 1948.
Fatah started it's "resistance" to the alleged "occupation" in 1964, 3 years before Israel annexed the West Bank and Gaza, although, the West Bank is legally part of Israel as mentioned in the White Paper of 1937.
The Palestinians were invented in 1967, but had never existed before then, as they were on the whole, migrant Arabs (originally from Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Jordan, etc) who came to work for Jews who were the only ones to offer paid work from the late 1800's...
If you're attacked on a daily basis by people who want to completely annihilate you, you'd also fight back - and wouldn't exactly treat the attackers as if they were your best friends.
I'm still amazed that the world think that Israel is too much land for Jews, even though it's now 12 miles at it's widest point and is no more than 50 miles long. Whereas, the Arab states have a mass of more than one million square miles, most of which is uninhabited, but they couldn't find a state for the so-called Palestinians who they've kept as refugees in perpetuity, just so they can be used as political pawns.
No other refugee group has been denied absorption into their given homeland. When Pakistan was created from India, there were well over a million refugees, all of whom were absorbed.
Only the Arabs have no compassion for their brethren, but, as we see from their actions, they glorify death and have no respect for life, which is why they keep the "Palestinian" refugees as battle fodder.
