Islamization of Europe continuing apace
All of Holland is celebrating Ramadan.
Including Prime Minister Balkenende, and Amsterdam Mayor Job Cohen (Dutch).
Meanwhile, the British are now considering abandoning the Union Jack. It offends Muslims, you know.
Mark Steyn has his own ideas on the subject. On banning "pig-related items":
When the Queen knights a Muslim "community leader" whose line on the Rushdie fatwa was that "death is perhaps too easy", and when the Prime Minister has a Muslim "adviser" who is a Holocaust-denier and thinks the Iraq war was cooked up by a conspiracy of Freemasons and Jews, and when the Prime Minister's wife leads the legal battle for a Talibanesque dress code in British schools, you don't need a pig to know which side's bringing home the bacon. And of course Muslims keep going on about this war, nearly a millennium ago, which THEY started:
"A lot of Muslims and Arabs view the Crusades as a bloody episode in our history," he told CNN. "They see those campaigns as Christendom launching a brutal holy war against Islam.Jews were there first. Then Roman Christians occupied the place. Muslims were only third to do so, driving out the Christians in the process. In the scheme of things, there was nothing wrong with Christians trying to get "their" land back. If I was five years old, I'd say "They started it".

Beginning of the End
This thru LGF: Muslims win toy pigs ban
NOVELTY pig calendars and toys have been banned from a council office — in case they offend Muslim staff. You may not have been aware of this, but I am barred from eating Muslims. I consider them unclean.
Workers in the benefits department at Dudley Council, West Midlands, were told to remove or cover up all pig-related items, including toys, porcelain figures, calendars and even a tissue box featuring Winnie the Pooh and Piglet.
Bosses acted after a Muslim complained about pig-shaped stress relievers delivered to the council in the run-up to the Islamic festival of Ramadan.
Muslims are barred from eating pork in the Koran and consider pigs unclean.
Councillor Mahbubur Rahman, a practising Muslim, backed the ban. He said: “It’s a tolerance of people’s beliefs.”
Muslims offend me. They really do. All it takes is a religion which is offended by the sight of Muslims, the uncleanliness of Muslims, the sound of Muslim prayer, to enable their getting banned from public life.
Ideas, anyone? For a new religion?
