VDH

Victor Davis Hanson on the sickening tendencies of the Left to compare anyone they don't like to Hitler. And they really don't like Bush:
Ignorance and arrogance are a lethal combination. Nowhere do we see that more clearly among writers and performers who pontificate as historians when they know nothing about history.

On occasion, those who are tainted, sometimes unfairly, with past charges of rightist extremism, find some psychic release in calling an American democratic president or his conduct Nazi-like. Thus, a German politician, who de facto unfortunately operates under the suspicions of the post-Nazi world, gains the moral high ground and moral fides by gratuitously deflecting attention to an American — not as the descendant of the liberators of the Europe, but as the true inheritor of the German Hitlerian mantel.

George Soros can nearly destroy the Bank of England in his hyper-capitalist financial speculations but somehow find spiritual cover among the leftists of Moveon.org, which he subsidized and which ran ads comparing the president to Hitler. Sen. Byrd, who suffers from the odium of an early membership with the racist Ku Klux Klan, perhaps finds it ameliorative to associate others with the tactics of the 20th century’s premier racist.
This misery doesn't seem to stop. And besides being offensive and just plain wrong, there's another point that seems to elude a lot of people: By calling everyone 'Hitler' and 'Nazi' at the drop of a hat, they cheapen WW2, and what actually happened then. Something I'm not too sure of is accidental. But Hanson takes these losers to task. Must-read

Justice - Arab style

An Arab who 'collaborated' with Israel security forces is tried, found guilty and sentenced. The sentence is then executed:
On the evening of 14.1.05, fugitives called on residents of the Balata refugee camp to gather in the marketplace in order to observe the execution.
Thousands heeded the call. Mansour, his hands bound, was ordered to kneel on the ground. Tanzim fugitives shot Muhammad Mansour in full view of the gathered crowd. When Mansour fell over onto the ground, one of the fugitives emptied an entire clip from his sidearm into Mansour's head. The mother of Nadr Abu Lil thereupon came out, stabbed Mansour's corpse and gouged out its eyes. The mother of Hashem Abu Hamdan and his brothers thereupon gashed Mansour's corpse with knives and axes.

When an ambulance came to collect the body, it was stoned by the mob. The ambulance driver was beaten and forced to flee the scene. Mansour's corpse was later delivered to the hospital, after having been further abused by the mob. The mob set out for Mansour's house and was met by his father who came out and declared that his son was a traitor whom he disowned. Thus the mob was deterred from burning the home.
Imagine these creatures - for lack of a better word - as your neighbours. Can't do it, can you?

Israel is surrounded by about 250 MILLION of them. And they hate Jews even worse than collaborators.

We're up there with the best of them

The trial of a Dutch businessman accused of selling chemicals to former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein to make poison gas is due to open in Rotterdam.

Frans van Anraat is accused of war crimes and genocide, the first time a Dutchman has faced that charge.
The total amorality of this man is astounding. Or it would be if you thought the Dutch are all about windmills, cheese and wooden shoes.

They're not.

They are about making money (and who isn't), and they don't care who they have to deal with in order to get it. Be friends with murdering Arabs and an enemy to Jews? No problem, but we'll at least be polite about it. Murder some Kurds? Who cares about them anyway?
The US issued a warrant for Mr van Anraat's arrest for alleged export violations while he was living in Iraq for more than 10 years up until the US invasion in 2003.

During that time, reports say he fed information to the Dutch intelligence agency on Saddam Hussein's weapons programme.
It's not like we didn't know about this pervert. But see, we got INFORMATION in return for selling WMD's to Hussein. So that makes it alright then.

There'll be some ironic (in)justice in that this sick individual will probably have to pay for this alone. Never mind that he probably did it with the full knowledge and cooperation of Dutch intelligence. He's fucked.

Proud to be Dutch. Yes sir.

Israel Rehearsing Plans to Destroy Iran´s Nuclear Plants

Gathering momentum?
Israel has operational plans for a combined air and ground attack on Iranian nuclear installations, to be used if Tehran fails to halt its atomic weapons program.
A possible strike on Iran is subject to a lot of discussions, which focus mainly on the issue of feasability: Iran is much farther away than Iraq (where Israel destroyed the Osiraq reactor in 1980), and Iran's facilities (there are several) are spread out over a huge area, and sometimes hidden as well.

I think feasability is a non-issue. The issue should be priority. If even
Reuters reports that "Tehran, which has a stated goal of destroying the Jewish state, says its nuclear activities are aimed only at electricity generation." The international community does not believe this, however.
then it should be clear that Israel needs to decide wether it wishes to gamble its existence on the whims of the Mad Mullahs. If it does not, then there is no other option than to forcibly prevent Iran from aquiring nuclear weapons. No matter what the cost to Israel.

First to go: Jericho

Tomorrow, Wednesday march 16th, Israel will give control of Jericho (situated in the 'West Bank') to the Arabs. Voluntarily. No Jews died in the Arab conquest of Jericho in 2005. No Jew even fought.

Jericho was the first city the Jews conquered when they first entered Canaan. We're talking about 3300 hundres years ago.

More towns will follow. It is a sad moment, and although I am about the least religious person you can find, it seems more and more like the orthodox are right: If the Jews let their ears hang to what the 'foreigners' and the secular say, they do not deserve the land. And they will lose it. Simply because someone else wants it more than they seem to do.

Good. Can't happen soon enough.

Revealed: Israel plans strike on Iranian nuclear plant
Israeli forces have used a mock-up of Iran’s Natanz uranium enrichment plant in the desert to practise destroying it. Their tactics include raids by Israel’s elite Shaldag (Kingfisher) commando unit and airstrikes by F-15 jets from 69 Squadron, using bunker-busting bombs to penetrate underground facilities.

The plans have been discussed with American officials who are said to have indicated provisionally that they would not stand in Israel’s way if all international efforts to halt Iranian nuclear projects failed.
This information is a bit more concrete than this:
The United States will pursue "stronger action" if Iran does not abandon its nuclear weapons ambitions, Vice President Dick Cheney said in an interview Friday.
Whatever. I still think the Mad Mullahs should be given a real taste of a proper nuke. One detonated at 500 meters over Teheran.
