THE mass murder of children revolts the human psyche. Herod sending his henchmen to massacre the infants of Bethlehem haunts the Gospels. Nothing in our time was crueler than what the Germans did to children during the Holocaust. Slaughtering the innocents violates a universal human taboo.
Or a nearly universal one. Those Muslims who preach Jihad against the West decided years ago that killing Jewish or Christian children is not only acceptable, but pleasing to their god when done by "martyrs."
It needs to be said and heard: The largest part, and the worst part of the scum of the earth today is made up of believers in Islam.
Only those who speak out against these atrocities are not guilty. Those who keep their mouths shut are only less guilty than the Psychopaths themselves.
Islam enables its followers to regard the children of other faiths as prey. It teaches there is nothing wrong with murdering non-Muslims, even children.
I don't know what it will take to make the world see Islams followers for what they are: A cancer of the planet that needs to be dealt with. Or the patient will die. The cancer will too, then, but it will no longer matter.
I have listened ad nauseum to Left-Liberals tell us how we must 'understand' the grievances of the Muslim Arab enemy. How we must reach out to win their hearts and minds. How they are really just ordinary people like you and me. There is a film being released in England that shows how terrorists - including the flying suicide bombers who crashed into the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania - were ordinary, even likeable, fellows.
Well, dear Liberal friends, I think I understand why they would want to kill 3,000 American infidels (non-Muslims). I think I understand why they would ambush a family on a road in Israel and then calmly walk over and put bullets into the heads of the pregnant mother and each of her four screaming little girls. Clearly, the terrorists were "making a statement" they thought should be understood with sympathy for their cause.
I have nothing at all to add. But you MUST read it all.
Pat Buchanan is a Jew-hater. A particularly vicious one at that. However, that is no news at all, there are literally hundreds of millions of those. And most of them are even more impotent than Buchanan is, so in that respect there's not much to worry about.
But Don Feder uses Buchanan's most recent book (yes, the idiot writes books) to once again sum up all that is wrong with people like Buchanan, and the way they think.
In Buchanan’s fantasy world, were it not for America’s outrageously pro-Israel foreign policy, Osama bin Laden and Mullah Omar would be sending us anonymous love letters, the World Trade Center would still be standing, and the Moslem world would be singing “Yankee Doodle Dandy,” in unison, while Saddam Hussein (doing a passable imitation of Jimmy Cagney) tap-danced in the background.
Israel a la Pat is a homicidal, imperialist state – practicing apartheid, deliberately slaughtering civilians, occupying Palestinian land, and subjugating its peaceful inhabitants.
Buchanan is a rare sort though. He is one of those people who make sense (sometimes a lot) on all kinds of topics. Until the topic is Israel. Then they have trouble keeping the rabies-induced drooling from their chin, as they rant and rave. Which shows that there IS no rationale behind their venomous anti-Jewish attitude. And which also immediately disqualifies everything else they say or do (Well it should. I'm sad to say Buchanan is still taken seriously by some people and (Internet) Magazines that I respect, like WorldNetDaily. Sad but true).
Consider the following: “Sharon promised peace and security. Since his provocation on the Temple Mount in September of 2000, he has delivered war and hatred. Over 900 Israelis are dead. Some 3,300 Palestinians have died, including hundreds of children.”
Don Feder at FrontPageMag beautifully takes Buchanan and his new rag apart, perhaps not hard to do but it badly needed doing.
But the fact that Buchanan finds Sharon’s unilateral submission paltry and insufficient, and an insult to the noble Arafat and his heroic people, shows that Pat is either totally detached from reality or has an implacable, blinding hatred of the Jewish state that defies rational explanation. I think it’s a little of both.[I am convinced both are 100% true - Ed.]
Buchanan has constructed a worldview in which all of our troubles with Islam come down to a nation the size of Connecticut, devoid of resources.
I wonder if he ever asks himself why Moslems are killing Hindus in the Kashmir – because Sharon won’t share Jerusalem with Arafat? Or, why Moslems are murdering Christians in Indonesia, oppressing Christians in Egypt and committing genocide in the Sudan (a fact now even acknowledged by hard-core leftist Danny Glover)? Was the foregoing sparked by Sharon’s provocation on the Temple Mount?
Why is Saudi Arabia financing the building of militant mosques all over the United States, while signs in Riyadh proclaim “An Islamic World”? Perhaps the phenomenon is due to Israel’s security fence. Why are Kosovar Moslems burning down Orthodox churches, razing convents and slaughtering Serbs whenever they can lay their hands on them? Could this be a reaction to Neoconservative control of US foreign policy?
Reports say Israeli forces were preparing to blow up the home of the second bomber.
Blowing up the homes of suidice bombers makes little sense to me, but I can understand the reasoning behind it.
But in this particular case, the IDF was about to demolish the house of the other Muslim Psychopath, when they noticed that if they did, the adjoining house was likely to collapse as well. So the "inhuman" IDF decided to let the house be.
IDF Retaliation Stopped in Mid-Demolition
The IDF began to respond to yesterday's double bus bombing in Be'er Sheva with a closure around Hevron and the destruction of the terrorists' homes - but then suddenly brought part of it to a sudden halt. After destroying the home of the first of yesterday's two murderous terrorists, the army turned its attention to the home of the second one - and decided not to tear it down. This, because it was too close to a neighbor's home, and the army engineers feared that demolishing the one would endanger the other.
And in this IsraelNationalNews article, they make humans out of the BBC's "16 killed". Men, women and children. Small children.
The names of 12 of the victims have been released for publication, all of them residents of Be'er Sheva:
Tamara Dibrashvilli, 70, grandmother of 14
Shoshana Amos, 64 - a well-known figure in Be'er Sheva who worked in the city's welfare department, mother of four.
Maria Sokolov, 58
Denise Hadad, 50 - mother of four who worked in an old-age home
Tatyana Korchenko, 49
Rosita Lehman, 45
Tekala Tiroyanta, 33
Emanuel Yosef, 28
Karine Malka, 23, to be laid to rest in the new Beer Sheva Cemetery at 17:30. Though she grew up in a non-religious family, she became observant several years ago. She worked in an absorption center for immigrants from Ethiopia. Survived by parents and an older brother and sister.
Aviel Atash, 4. His mother was seriously wounded. The only child of his parents.
The identification of the others, underway since yesterday evening in the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute, is a difficult process.
And why would identification be difficult, you may wonder? Try and imagine, just for once in your life, what 10-30 pounds of high explosives, laced with nails and other assorted metal bits will do to the human body when exploded at point blank. And then remind yourself that the Muslim Psychopath who did this had this devastating effect as his sole purpose. Well, that and his 72 virgins.
It's kinda funny when this happens and Israel indirectly benefits from the corruption that characterizes US and UK foreign policy where the Jews are concerned. This article by the BBC is a report on how the UK changes the rules on exporting (parts of) military equipment to controversial regions (such as Israel, obviously). If the US wants it badly enough, the UK will sell, regardless of what it SAID it would do. In this case, it's a part for an F-16 fighter/bomber sold to Israel by the US. So indirectly, Israel benefits. And the poor Arabs suffer even more.
Opponents believe there is a risk that the F16s fitted with the British-built "head-up" displays could be used against the Palestinians.
But speaking to BBC News Online, Mr Straw said the decision to change the rules had been taken many months ago and that Labour critics were wrong to say it had been rushed in order to satisfy US business demands.
<sarcasm>Of COURSE that was not the reason! The reason was that the UK ALWAYS jumps at the chance to help Israel out!</sarcasm> And whereas the Conservatives are pragmatic and corrupt, and will let money override any other criterion, Labour is simply anti-Semitic, and will attempt to hurt Israel, even if it hurts them too:
Labour's Brian Iddon, secretary of the Commons all-party Palestine group, said: "I am very disappointed that we are aiding and abetting the Americans to attack the Palestinians."
Labour MP Alice Mahon warned: "It is outrageous, given what is happening in the Middle East."
At least Labour is consistent in its animosity towards the Jews.
But then again, the financial argument usually weighs against Israel. So practically speaking, as fas as Israel is concerned is the same difference.
Repetitive but necessary: The conflict in the ME is NOT about the "occupation". It is NOT about sovereignty for the "Palestinians".
It is about the Jews. And the fact that they live. Among Arabs even.
The double bus bombing in Beersheva painfully hightlights this fact. Again.
The issue of the “right of return” to Beersheba is no theoretical notion for the Palestinian Arabs. The United Nations refugee camps in Gaza and the West Bank have shacks that are supposedly laid out in alleyways precisely according to the neighborhoods from whence the inhabitants say they came in 1948. This exemplifies the idee fixe of the Arabs in their unrelenting drive to make war on, and destroy, Israel.
And then there are those that hate the Jews as much or even more than the Arabs do (is that at all possible?), have a long and proud history to show for it and continue to do their bit to aid the Arabs in the neverending quest for a "Endlosung" (I use the German term 'cause they were the ones who coined it, and also 'cause it is pertinent here).
The German government’s involvement with the “right of return” issue is particularly specious, considering the fact that the it would never consider making an effort to encourage the right of their German nationals and their descendents to return to the Sudetenland, Silesia and East Prussia, from which eight million German nationals were expelled following World War II.
The Germans, however, have different standards for Palestinian refugees, people who have wallowed in the squalor of Palestinian Arab refugee camps for more than 55 years under the premise and promise of the “right of return” to non-existent homes that are now inhabited by Israeli shopping centers, industrial parks and a modern society.
And the US State department is as relentless:
In addition, the U.S. government’s encouragement of such “educational” programs which incite Palestinian Arabs to “reclaim” lands from 1948 would seem to fly in the face of new legislation passed by the U.S. Congress. According to an article in the August 2nd, 2004 issue of the Near East Report, the publication for AIPAC, Israel’s lobby in Congress, this year's foreign aid act contains key policy provisions to "place stricter auditing procedures that will force Palestinian non-governmental organizations to demonstrate that funds are in no way linked to terrorism before they qualify for U.S. aid."
However, officials of USAID in Jerusalem found a way to circumvent the legislated requirement of Palestinians to sign statements opposing incitement to terrorism by not requiring "contractors and sub-contractors" who receive USAID grants to sign the anti-terror waivers. As a result, those who receive money from USAID for educational programs in the Palestinian schools are "contractors and sub-contractors," and thus not the agencies themselves, according to the loophole.
So thanks to German and American foreign aid, Palestinian children learn that Beersheba is a town to be liberated by killing Israelis. This all explains why the evening news of the Voice of Palestine, the official radio program of the Palestinian Authority, described the Palestinian killers who yesterday blew up two Israeli buses as “heroic martyrs” rather than as murderers of 16 innocent people.
So really, it is business as usual, as it has been for decades, centuries, millennia even: The West kills Jews or aids those that kill them, so do the Arabs. And the Jews get pressured and cajoled to cooperate in their demise.
Read it all.
This is a report on what the US forces found in Najaf after Al-Sadr and his "followers" left, free to go.
"Inside the court building, Iraqi police found approximately 200 mutilated bodies taken by the Moqtada militia for speaking out against Moqtada al Sadr," said the intelligence report sent to the Pentagon and stamped "secret."
"Some of the prisoners had eyes and ears drilled out and others had their limbs and heads cut off. Some males had genitals cut off and shoved in their mouths. There was evidence of rape to men, women and children," according to the report.
So who is this Al-sadr? Where did he come from? Who are his "followers"?
Sheik al-Sadr has led several deadly uprisings in southern Iraq, unleashing his rifle-toting, ragtag army on coalition forces and innocent civilians. U.S. Army and Marine units have responded by attacking and killing scores of the fighters.
Sheik al-Sadr holed up in Najaf's main mosque for days before Iraq's leading Shi'ite, Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, returned from Britain and helped negotiate a cease-fire on Thursday.
The sheik's aides say that he now may choose to enter politics. But if his Mahdi's Army is tied to the massacre of innocent Iraqis, he could face a criminal investigation.
"The commander of the Sadr movement, leader Muqtada Sadr, announced today in Najaf the end of all fighting in the whole of Iraq and the integration of his movement in the political process," Sheik Naim al-Qaabi said last week.
U.S. military sources have told The Times that Iranian money helped Sheik al-Sadr rise from an obscure cleric during Saddam's rule to an influential rebel who paid a large army, provided social services and opened a rabble-rousing newspaper.
Iran. The major puppetmaster. Scaring even the Saudi's (well, that doesn't take too much, but with such extremist Muslim views... Just a different kind of extremism I guess).
Iran. Striving to obtain nuclear weapons. Scheming for a Shia majority rule in Iraq. Financing Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Iran. Way, WAY overdue for an uninterrupted week-long carpet-bombing. Or maybe Allah can organize a few more earthquakes like the last one. Although that lesson failed to sink in. No surprise there.
I'm sure the IDF will be ordered to retaliate. I can only hope that at least some of the people they kill will be responsible. I will not gloat or rejoice over the deaths of even these Arabs, although the world will be a better place without them in it.
But it saddens me that no atrocity or series of atrocities is sufficient to force Israel onto a course of action that will stop this endless suffering, a suffering that is tragic and unnecessary. And because it is unnecessary, the Israeli government is criminally negligent. There IS a solution to this problem. But as long as we tolerate these murderers and their fans among us, the blood on both sides will not stop flowing.
As I reported here numerous times, the IDF is making a joke of the concept of security with regards to the inhabitants of Sderot, an Israeli town with the 1948 borders that is regularly bombed from within Gaza. Or it would be a joke, except that people are getting killed and injured because of the ineptnes of the IDF command.
This time it lasted two days. Following a series of mortar shells and Kassam rockets on Sderot and Gush Katif last week, the IDF instituted its familiar practice of placing checkpoints in strategic places in Gaza, thus effectively cutting off its three parts from each other - but removed them yesterday morning, only two days later. The week before, the IDF kept the measure in place for less than one day.
Defense Affairs Correspondent Haggai Huberman wrote a biting article in HaTzofeh newspaper last week, accusing Israeli policy makers (such as Defense Minister Mofaz) of falling for PA promises to maintain quiet. Referring to the Kassams that began falling last week, Huberman wrote,
"The people of Sderot had quiet for five whole days until it became clear, for the umpteenth time, the amount of confidence that we can place in Palestinian promises... When the dividing-up of Gaza was canceled, the IDF Spokesman explained that this was done after an 'evaluation of the situation' by the security establishment. I would dearly love to know what new facts were learned during that meeting that weren't known 24 hours before when it was decided to divide the area. The only change, it appears, was a Palestinian promise to stop the rockets...
"They are simply animals. They walk around freely amongst us, but if we make a mistake and come to their areas, it could cost us our lives." So said this morning Yaakov Shabo, one of four Israelis who made a wrong turn on Friday into an Arab-populated neighborhood and were saved at the last moment from a lynching. "Another minute and I would have been dead," another of the Israelis said. "I thought we were going to end up like those two poor soldiers who were killed in Ramallah" - a reference to Yosef Avrahami and Vadim Norzitch who were brutally lynched in the Ramallah police station when they made a wrong turn into the city on Oct. 12, 2000.
Arab Palestinians are NOT animals. I absolutely and vehemently object to designating them as such.
We search the purses of little old ladies so that recent immigrants from Saudi Arabia named "Mohammed" wearing massive backpacks don't get singled out.
