A survey of the Arab world organized by the Al-Arabia network website after the death of Yasser Arafat, showed 73.72% want a Hamas representative to replace Arafat, ITIM reported. In contrast only 0.7% expect that one of the PLO leaders will take over.
Hamas of course is dedicated to the total destruction of Israel. Officially.
Just a reminder here: UN SC resolution 242, on which ALL negotiations and solutions must be based, demands (among other things) this:
Termination of all claims or states of belligerency and respect for and acknowledgement of the sovereignty, territorial integrity and political independence of every State in the area and their right to live in peace within secure and recognized boundaries free from threats or acts of force.
Clearly, most Arabs want Israel gone. I know, I know, this is not what you might call a surprise. It just means that Israel is under NO obligation WHATSOEVER to make peace overtures, let alone compromise on land or security issues. Three quarters of all Arabs still consider themselves at war with Israel. Which is really all that matters.
This is an article I have pointed to earlier. But it is still so pertinent to the attitude of Spain (and the EU in general) towards Israel (especially as Javier Solana handles just about everything for the EU concerning Israel) that I point to it again.
Fundamentally, this book is addressed to the anti-Jewish school of thought in Spain. The goal of our book is to launch a debate about Judeophobia in Spain. We are convinced that the current view of the conflict, so Manichaean—with the good, always the Palestinians, and the evil, always the Israelis—has deep roots. It comes from an ancient anti-Jewish feeling that exists in Spain and that also explains the history of Spain. This feeling softened slightly after the Franco era [translator's note : post-1975], but today there is a virulent resurgence of this savage feeling to the point where one can find genuinely anti-Semitic expressions in the Spanish press. In essence, this is a provocative book in the face of totally pro-Arab thinking in Spain, that is completely uncritical of the mistakes of the Arab world in general and of the Palestinians in particular.
Another good quote:
Those on the Left in Spain have a real problem. In some respects we are the heirs of the French Revolution ; we have been influenced by the great ideologues like [Jean-Paul] Sartre and [Albert] Camus, and also by May 1968. That is to say, the overall thinking of the Spanish Left comes from France. Now, France is fundamentally anti-American…from which (comes) our anti-Americanism, that at times borders on the pathological, an anti-Americanism which is also anti-Semitic. This explains why to a certain extent the Spanish Left is anti-Semitic. Obviously, people like myself have great difficulty with this state of affairs.
I believe that if the Left has failed as a great world ideology, it is because the Left did not succeed in breaking with the worst of its dogmatic thinking. The Left can be very progressive, but it can also be very dogmatic. Unfortunately, the Left became infatuated with such infamous dictators as Pol Pot, Mao, and Stalin, and now it is in love with Arafat. The Left should be critical, and in the first place, self-critical.
Very much worth reading. Get the book too, if you get a chance.
The Amsterdam city council is cracking down hard on bars, clubs and discotheques that discriminate against Moroccans. It's been discovered you see, that the reason the Moroccans fail to integrate into Dutch society is that they get refused a lot in these establishments. They get refused purely out of racism and bigotry of course, which causes such resentment they turn to radical Islam and start shooting obnoxious filmmakers, and slashing their throats. I mean, what else is an isolated Muslim to do?
The fact that these Moroccans can't handle their liquor, get in women's faces and deal drugs far more often than is proportional of cours has nothing to do with them getting barred.
After the murder of Theo van Gogh, and the statements made by his religion teacher, a few citizens of Amsterdam came up with THE solution to the problem of Muslim extremism.
Let's all wear a plastic orange bracelet that says "Respect".
Seriously. And the Dutch PM thinks it's such a great idea, he's wearing one, and he bought the entire parliament a whole box of them.
That'll show the extremists.
Oh, and the bracelets are not just directed at the Muslims. The idiots and bigots setting fire to Mosques and schools better take care as well.
So we in Holland, we're oki-doki again. Right as rain. No problem here. Good as new.
An Israeli military court handed a life-sentence this week to the man who proudly displayed his blood-drenched hands after he joined a lynch-mob of other Arabs and carried out the grisly double murder. Vadim Norzitch and Yosef Avrahami were the two reserve soldiers killed in the lynching at a Ramallah police station in 2000.
There's a lot more to this story.
The image of Salha jubilantly displaying his bloodied hands has become a symbol of Arab savagery over the course of the Oslo War.
If you want to know why, go here. But be warned. It is extremely gruesome. It is also the truth about the Arab stone-age mindset.
Abu Mazen, holocaust-denier and candidate to 'succeed' (word is kinda wrong in this context...) the filth Arafat wants to be locked up for four years and then die a disgraceful death. At least, you'd think so from this article in IsraelNationalNews:
Mahmoud Abbas says he will continue in Yasser Arafat's footsteps, and will demand that Israel allow 3-4 million Arab "refugees," including their descendants, to return to Israel.
Abbas, known as Abu Mazen, is currently the leading candidate in the race to take over Yasser Arafat's position as head of the Palestinian Authority.
I wonder if he will take up residency in whatever's left of the Mukhata. It sure must smell bad over there, I mean what with Arafat being incontinent and all that...
After a Muslim convert born to Dutch parents, who teaches religion in school, publicly states he desires the death of Dutch MP Geert Wilders, the most-heard comment from Dutch politicians is: "We should not give weirdo's like this a public speaking forum". That's right, they are mostly concerned with the fact that maniacs like this one are heard by the general audience. Why?
The politicians say it's because it 'poisons the debate'. Somehow the Dutch Attorney General knows that 'van de Ven's opinions are not representative for Muslims in the Netherlands'. What a prat! Every time Muslims are interviewed on TV, the best you can hope for is "It's wrong that he was killed, BUT...". And almost always do you get a lot of understanding for, if not outright agreement with the motive of van Gogh's murderer.
I say the reason they don't want filth like this (Dutch) on TV is because they know it upsets the general population. Even if it's something the population should be upset about. AND THIS MUSLIM WAS TOTALLY HOMEGROWN!
The poison has spread far beyond anyones worst fears. And like a true epidemic, the government's first (and it seems their only) priority is preventing a panic. They're not that concerned with actually doing something about the problem. In fact, they have yet to acknowledge there IS a problem.
Abdul-Jabbar van de Ven wants Geert Wilders dead. Geert Wilders is the Dutch MP who (together with Ayaan Hirsi-Ali, another MP) is fighting the rise of Islam in the Netherlands.
Van de Ven is a Muslim teacher, it's not clear from the report where or what he teaches.
Van de Ven stated in a prime time talkshow that he would like to see Wilders die within two years. He added he hoped Wilders wouldn't be murdered by a Muslim.
Abdul-Jabbar van de Ven said he does not approve of murder, but he did feel 'something akin to gladness' when he heard of the murder of Theo van Gogh.
Van de Ven is a very Dutch name, leading to the inevitable conclusion that this is either a convert or a Muslim born to Dutch parents.
What is most striking in this report is not that this Muslim comes out and honestly says what he feels. It is not even the fact that he wants someone dead who has done him no harm in any sane, rational sense of the word.
No, the real impact is in the fact that this reasonably-sounding maniac with a degree KNOWS that in this society, he can come out and say things like these.
Were he a Jew in Egypt (well, that's impossible, let's take a Copt for argument's sake), and said the same thing, he would be dead himself soon. Probably before he left the studio.
"Van Gogh did nothing but offend Muslims to the depth of their souls", he said earlier. "As far as I'm concerned he could have been hit by a train or died of cancer. He is dead, that is all that counts".
Abdul-Jabbar van de Ven was born as Jilles van de Ven [Told you so - Ed] to Dutch parents. He preaches near Den Bosch and is called the 'Internet-imam'. He is seen as the inspirator of Mohammed Bouyeri, Theo van Gogh's assassin. and of Jason W.. who was arrested in The Hague for conspriring to murder Geert Wilders and Ayaan hirsi-Ali.
Van de Ven, who studies in Saudi-Arabia for a year, said earlier in [Dutch daily] Trouw that he would like to move to an Arabic country. "After September 11 I have the feeling: I don't belong here. I loathe the hypocrisy." Islamic countries don't exist according to van de Ven, only Afghanistan under the Taliban. "But you have a choice between cancer and the flu. Holland is cancer".
Holland is cancer. And life was good in Afghanistan, WHEN the Taliban ruled.
This has in itself nothing to do with religion. This guy is food for clinical psychiatrists. But then, I guess anyone who is this 'committed' to a 'religion' is. It's just so striking about Islam that it is so attractive to a disproportionately large number of candidate-mental patients.
There are way too many rumours about this maniac flying around to not take this serious anymore.
I guess it is not up to Israel who gets 'voted' next Fuhrer of the 'Palestinians'. It IS up to Israel however to make sure this Jewkiller stays in jail for the duration of his sentence. Literally. And that mean five consecutive lifetimes.
So is there any chance this maniac gets out early? Yes, according to Jonathan Pollard.
Israeli officials said last week they may release several jailed Palestinians as a "goodwill gesture" toward the future PA leadership. There have been a few reports that Barghouti, who was recently sentenced in Israel to five life terms for planning gun ambushes and a suicide bombing, may be considered for release, but Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is said to have rejected the idea. Reports list Barghouti as the widely favored candidate for PA president.
Crazier things have happened. But if Israel lets him out, then I am DEFINITELY not going to live there. Not 'cause I'd be afraid (though I should be), but because it would be clearer than ever that the Jews really don't want a country of their own.
The filth is dead. But continues to spew forth from the official broadcasting channels of PA TV.
In a recent broadcast, the mother of an Arab suicide terrorist talks about how she and other mothers in her position consider their sons’ Shahada death as a joyful event, similar to a wedding. The following is an excerpt from the PATV's Nov. 17th broadcast:
Moderator: "They [Israelis] accuse the Palestinian mother of hating her sons and encouraging them to die. This is what we hear from Israelis. Is this true?
Mother Um Al-Ajrami: "No, we do not encourage our sons to die. We encourage them to Shahada [martyrdom] for the homeland, for Allah… We [mothers of Shahids] don't say to the mothers of the [new] Shahids, 'We have come to comfort you’, but rather, 'We have come to bless you on the wedding of your son, on the Shahada of your son. Congratulations to you on the Shahada... ' For us, the mourning is joyous. We give out drinks, we give out sweets. Praise to God -- the mourning is a joyous occasion."
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Answer: Well, you tell me. Hezbollah broadcasts in Lebanon, Syria and France.
...the French broadcasting authority (CSA) announced on its Web site Friday that it has finalized an agreement with Hizbullah's Al-Manar television, allowing the controversial anti-Israel broadcaster to stay on the airwaves in France.
All I'm wondering is: Who will watch this uninterupted stream of Jew-hatred more? The native French or the New French?
Read it all.
We search the purses of little old ladies so that recent immigrants from Saudi Arabia named "Mohammed" wearing massive backpacks don't get singled out.
